Hinatuan River is a river on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It flows to the Pacific Ocean in Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. The river is also referred to as the "Enchanted River" by many local residents and tourists.
It is a salt water the river and flowing from the pond very deep (about 50 feet). It is near the sea and the deep spring from which the water flows is the salt spring. The river is very short and flowing into the sea. The exact cause of what makes the flow of water with salt water has not been ascertained, but it is so close to the sea, it is assumed that the sea water has flown deep underground through a long slit and then back in the spring of the river far below. (called "Enchanted River" because it seems miraculous water flow without any source, as well as being so deep and blue)/ It is considered one of the most beautiful tourist spots in the Philippines.
Seeing something that so beautiful almost always make people speechless. That's the view of the Enchanted River. Experience that really can not be forgotten because it presents the natural beauty that really makes your eyes mesmerized.
