Today’s post is going to be a review of a Diablo 3 guide that I recently had a look at: The Diablo 3 Gold Guild.
The creator - Ray - knows his stuff. He’s been writing about and playing Diablo 3 ever since the early days of the beta.
The Diablo 3 Gold Guild contains real, valuable content. No hocus pocus or reliance on tricks or gimmicks. I also like how it is regularly updated – both in the forum and in the guide itself. Ray shares quick thoughts and ideas as posts and takes his time creating more detailed content as guide articles.
The fact that this guide comes with a built in forum where users can communicate and share tips and ideas without those ideas spreading too fast to the public is a huge bonus.
The structure of the guide is really neat too. Sections cover the classes, levelling, crafting and the auction houses and hardcore, higher difficulties and PvP (content in these is still coming through – indeed nothing much concrete can be said about PvP yet in any guide).
Ray is building on a foundation of quality work. You can tell he plays every day – probably for unhealthy amounts of time – and keeps up to date on the best skills, runes, levelling strategies and sales techniques.
I know a bit about Diablo 3 but even I found myself nodding along while reading or being totally taken aback by a something I’d never considered before.
I 100% consider myself a better Diablo 3 player after reading Ray’s guide – I can think of no better recommendation than that.
And I’ve barely begun to scratch the surface of what’s on offer or seen anything but the smallest fraction of the updates to come.
I’m very pleased with the Diablo 3 Gold Guild - I highly recommend it.
